Things to do

See Tsingy Rouge Park which is an amazing canyon of red rock formations formed from erosion. The sandstone, marl, and limestone all formed these ephemeral structures.
Visit Isalo National Park which is home to 100 bird species, cliffs, vines, and plentiful fauna. There are three waterfalls where you can cool off, a variety of lemurs scattered around, and great hiking trails.
Ile Sainte Marie is the next best place to visit as this was a former pirate capital. The island is full of coves, pirate graves, and delicious seafood and this is also the best part of the country for whale watching too (humpback whales come here to breed between July-September).
Go to the tropical cloud forest of Ranomafana National Park. This park consists of giraffe beetles, birds, chameleons, and always awesome lemurs and other wildlife. Due to the park’s popularity, it has a limit at which it allows people in so it is best to go there during the low season to prevent being turned back.
